Ya don't just move your tanks into the burbs and sit around. Our troops are going to be shooting, moving, communicating all night long in Bagdad.
Agreed. I think we have the momentum now and know enough of the internal goings-on in Baghdad to start going in area by area. I wouldn't be surprised if flying columns showed up in Baghdad center.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Thanks, Howlin--listening to the President speak at Camp Lejuene (and a good speech it is) after a harrowing drive to work through freezing rain & very slippery streets.

"It's pretty well known that he was sneaking oil out and accumulating his money for WMD. "
We've blown the pipeline to Syria already (several days ago). Say goodbye to 250,000 barrels of oil per day Syria. heh heh

Our course is set. We will accept nothing but final and complete victory. May God bless our country and all those who protect her. Semper Fi!

That reporting from Arnot last night was the most amazing thing I have ever heard. I never, EVER want to be drafted, holy canoli! That sounded horrible.
Nothing really extraordinary... That's war, son.

Probably someone has posted this already, but the Fox crawl said that Jessica Lynch had not eaten in 8 days at the time of her rescue! No wonder she looked so emaciated! After hearing that Jessica walked into the hospital, and the "developed" two broken legs, my 14 yo blond and blue daughter's take was "she knew what she was getting into, and shouldn't be surprise that she was treated badly.
I explained the Geneva Conventions of 1924 to her.
I think the ringing in her ears will go away in a few days...

"The objectives we've set in this war are worthy of America."
We will prevail."
"Having traveled hundreds of miles, we will now go the last 200 miles."

A man in one village said "I want my freedom. I don't want food or water. I just want my freedom". Awesome quote.

They could use what is left of the the foundation of the Presidential palace for the base. They will need a couple rolls of duct tape, too... Perhaps the 3ID tankers can lend those...
