Here's the Israeli angle.
This operation is unique in history. All lessons from military history are considered. Brooks taking umbrage at "bombing B-dad" There is NO bombing of the city.
Take that!
To: prairiebreeze
OMG! LMAO! General: well that's a highly speculative question and I'm not going to give you a highly speculative answer. I'm not even going to figure out what you are trying to ask.

THIS IS UNLIKE ANY WAR IN HISTORY!
We are not bombing cities, population... only military targets with our precision weapons.

Question from HongKong--What happens if you can't take B-dad? Are you gonna retreat?
Brooks not even going to consider the question.
Oh my. LOL. "Where are coalition forces going to retreat to, if you get hammered in Baghdad? Most of the other cities aren't secure."
I say we retreat to say, Beijing.

Committee to Protect Journalist??????
To: Timeout
Investigation? Hell, they went out on their own! They're secondary - we've got a damn war to fight! Find your own damn journalists!
To: Nam Vet
The committee to protect journalists? Oh my.
Two missing journalists (ITN)in cross-fire. Asking about an investigation from the U.S.?
Regret the loss of any lives, journalists included (snickering). They were in an area of combat. Don't know circumstances of lack of accountability. Take it seriously. Looking into it.
To: mhking
Yeah they weren't embedded..stupid jerks!
To: Carolina
The "committee to protect journalists" question. Journalists reportedly caught in crossfire between forces.
laughter about regretting loss of journalists life on battle field. Was that appropriate? I dont' think Brooks was cracking a joke?
These people are sick puppies

Darn, he missed a great answer...

It would have been hilarious if he had said "Retreating is not part of our plan and we have no intentions of making that part of our plan. Thank you very much. Next question"

They contain small bomblets that are effective on armor and troops. they disperse widely. Some don't explode and they worry about children picking them up.The bomblets were the same color as some food packets in Afghanistan.

Progress on 11 bodies at hospital.
Ongoing. Taking additional steps. Some of the remains will be moved to Dover AFB. Find out more as the work is done.
