"We are, however, determined to solve these disagreements on the basis of the partnership we have developed."

Yes, but of which partnership are they speaking - their long standing relationship with Iraq???

If Saddam is still alive, he's in the basement of the Russian embassy being treated by Russian surgeons. The Russian embassy is where the war will end, I think.

That wouldn't surprise me at all! What a perfect place to stay for Saddam! We didn't hit the embassy but the neighborhood and the Russians start squawking! "Why?" would be my question!

I think I saw this on the english text version of the Russian Newspaper that is allegedly saying Russia's Navy is sailing towards the Arabian sea for "exercises."

That's a very good question and one I would like to know the answer to as well.

I think the Russians did something similar to this during Gulf War I!

Yeah right! So absolutely flattening villages in Chechnya is just fine. But a little unintended collateral damage in Iraq is just unacceptable.

They are taking shots at us becuase we give them a hard time about Chechnya. Don't take this very seriously. There just irritating us like we irritate them. Fair play.

========= Iraqi television =========

Iraqi TV boasts that they have Russian antitank 'technology,
given after OK by Putin himself..

========= Terrorist Enabling Russians =========

On the trail of WMD/cruiseMISSILE/GPS-jammers/-selling Putin,
Putin disingenuously denied that Russian firms sold military equipment to Iraq
because there were intermediaries.

"Russia called in the U.S. ambassador to Moscow on Wednesday to protest against air strikes it said hit Baghdad's residential districts and endangered the lives of diplomats still working at its embassy in Iraq."

Ah shut up!

If only Clinton were President, he'd take out their embassy like he took out the Chinese in Belgrade, remember....

I remember that about the Chinese embassy! Also remember we took out the French Embassy in Libya when our F-111's bombed after French had told us we couldn't use their airspace!

Exactly. Pee-Wee Pooty-Poot's just worried about the fresh crates of 'sleeping gas' with the hammer n' sickle stamp that will soon be discovered in Iraq. What a nickel-dick.
