Dennis Prager had a caller this morning to his syndicated show which epitomized the hatred that many in the anti-war movement have for President Bush.
Dave from Chatsworth (DFC) actually hates Bush more than he hates Saddam Hussein. Yes, he knows Hussein is a bad guy, but Bush is more dangerous and will do more harm. Bush is a greater immediate threat to this nation.
DFC was a very angry man. At times it was difficult for Dennis to talk with him because of his anger. Because Dennis really wanted to understand, he held him over through a commercial break.
And then we finally heard it. Dennis gave DFC the opportunity to give some reasons why he hated Bush more than Hussein. I would say it was unbelievable, but we have come to expect what is unbelievable from the leftists.
Here are the first two reasons that came out of DFC's mouth as to why Bush is more hated and more dangerous than Hussein ---
1. He has allowed snowmobiles in Yellowstone, and
2. He wants to drill for oil everywhere.
There you have it, folks. Snomobiles and wanting to drill for oil is more dangerous and deserves our wrath more than torture and murder. More than gassing his own citizens. More than putting human beings through a shredder. More than dunking political enemies in vats of acid. More than cutting out tongues and allowing people to bleed to death in the town square. More than rape as a policy of intimidation.
Way to go, Dave from Chatsworth. You have done a great job of expressing the views from the moral abyss in which you and your leftist pals find themselves.

It's the same narrowly-focused mindset, though, the same Johnny-One-Notes as exhibited by the DU crowd as with these Smokey Backroom ideologues. This one wackjob talked about snowmobiles; other wackjobs rant on endlessly about weed and anal rape camps.

Doesn't say much for our Educational Institutions, but watching these LIBS self destructing all around us does give me some hope

The self-centered conceit of such as he is amazing but hardloy uncommon. Usually the leftist hides it well by expressing "feelings" for all sorts of things. This false sentimentality substitues for real sentiment or virtue. This caller had his guard down and truely explained his motivation.
The ownership for this small issues that they get is their only validation outside of their shared illusions. They take real human rankings of virtues and issues and abandon them in an excess of self satisfation about their "special" causes which they, along with their fellows, alone can understand.

I can empathize with DFC's feelings. Before the '92 election I watched Bill and Hillary make their Sunday appearance on CBS to talk about his boffing of Gennifer Flowers. As I listened to his swarmy BS I said then that this man had the potential to do more harm to this country than a foreign power ever could.
The only difference is that I was right...

Check out the Democrat Underground, if you can stomach it. They're actually ROOTING for Saddam Hussein! Yes, the slugs at DU are upset at "Bush's War for Oil", but their real fear is that we just may win and Bush proved right.

Ahh, yes.. "Dave from Chatsworth"
He strikes me as someone dangerous also.
In a just world, his neighbors would strip Dave of his Automobile, Air Conditioner and other environmentally "dangerous" items and force him to live in an "earth friendly" cave till he came to his senses.
Of course, we don't live in a just world, so I fully expect to see our buddy "Dave" as a member of Congress sometime soon.

This fellow DFC is evidence of the corruption of the left, their inability to know truth, and their blindness to universal issues of morality and ethics.
Several years ago, a survey was done asking 30-somethings the following question: "Which would you save if both were drowning in a river: (a) your beloved dog; or (b) a stranger.
Incredibly, the majority response was to save the dog first. Think of what this means as regards the loss of traditional Judeo-Christian values and the lack of true moral compass.
Of course, none of this surprises us Freepers anymore. Liberals think that a teenage girl who smokes is immoral, while a teenage girl who is sexually active is not.
The lie becomes truth, and the truth becomes a lie.

Processed cheese food would tick off just about any living thing. Yellowstone meese are known to prefer Velveeta (jalapeno, please) over *any* variety of cheese which originates in that foul foreign land known as "France". Just be sure to serve said cheese-food product on little American flag toothpicks. Our wildlife is very patriotic, you know. More so than the average democrat. ;-)

Hey Dave of Chatsworth, go live and fight for Saddam. The rest of the citizens of the US encourge you wholeheartedly to follow your heart to Baghdad. No one will stand in your way.

You and I were both right, my friend. The damage Clinton did to this nation is incalculable. If the chief law enforcement officer gets away with perjury, what sucker would not commit perjury in court to cover himself? Oral sex in junior high and younger. Getting away with rape. Technology to Red China. Aid and comfort to North Korea. Failure to take seriously the Islamist threat.

You should change your handle to "badmaners"...you're several "totes over the line"...CJ is in no-way a troll!
Suggest a couple of things. Before you hit the keyboard, pull your head out'a ya'ass, check out where fellow FReepers are coming from and how long they've been around this forum. It's easy to do. "Hand to Name" will do it.
As a conservative/libertarian myself, I suggest you lay off the gan'ja.

Dennis has talked about that often. Sometimes I have to think seriously what I would do if the choice was saving George and Kramer, or saving Hillary. George and Kramer have escaped twice, George cost me $2,000 to fix a destroyed leg when he was hit by a car, they have crapped and puked on the rug a few times. But then I look at what Hillary has done and what she is capable of doing. I guess I am leaning toward saving George and Kramer. :)
Another note from the moral abyss. In a real estate law class I used to teach at Chaffey College, on a few occasions I brought up a case of a mortgage broker who ripped off clients for about 5 million bucks. He was caught and sent to a country club prison for about 5 years. Unbelievably to me, about half the class would go to a country club prison for 5 years if they could get 5 million bucks out of it. The concern was not the morality of the situation, but rather how much punishment they would have to endure.

Who said Vegan? For about a year, I didn't even eat fish, but then decided to eat shark. I figured, given the chance, he would kill me so screw 'em. Then my doctor told me of the benefits of salmon for my heart. My moral choice of not wanting to kill mammals is my choice. Others have their choice and will hear no lectures from me.
That having been said, however, God rest the soul of the mammal who will break into my home.

Well, to be fair, Hussein has been very guarded with respect to his position on snowmobiles.
