Mid Euphrates sector fierce battle south of Najaf. In abul hasid, outskirt of Basrah fierce fighting continuing. 1st info he got enemy sustains heavey casualties. Nasiriyah sectors units managed to capture a number of American mercenaries, destroyed 2 tanks and 1 water tanker. 1 martyred Agggh! Please don't call them "martyrs." "Martyred" is when somebody kills you for your faith, not when you kill yourself while trying to kill other people for your "faith."
I get so furious at the news media for going along with crazy Muslim terminology on this one. They're suicide attackers and nothing more. Nobody ever called the Japanese kamikaze bombers "martyrs," to my knowledge, and they were the same as these guys (only better armed).
