Did anybody wee the Centcom spokesman who appeared on Fox last night during O'Reilly and answered some questions but primarily THANKED Fox for displaying journalistic integrity and responsibility by not running with the Jessica Lynch story until Centcom was ready to go with it? The other orgs couldn't wait, could they?

Don't you just love BG Brooks more each day... Have always been impressed with this man...articulate, well-spoken, intelligent.....truly wonderful representative of our leaders in the military.

I love Gen. Vince showing flashes of anger at the press. He's done such a good job handling these ijuts. I'd love to see Tommy Franks walk into one of these briefings and pin a second star on him. (I'm still POed over that Woulf question a few days ago, whining about not getting high ranking officers giving the briefings--a Brigadier General ain't chopped liver, ya know.)
Did the AP reporter think the red line was spraypainted on the ground or what?

Those Marines deserve every ton of pride they have. They delivered a most impressive presser (that's the least of why they deserve to be proud, sprinkles on the iced cake)

Our idiiot Rep Dennis Kuchinich (who wants to be the Presisdent, for guess which partY?) was just on radio, with ranting tape from house floor DEMANDING we stop the war NOW before we have house to house in Bagdad. My condolences. My idiot Senator is a President wannabe, too. He's Klinton lite.

The other orgs couldn't wait, could they? Saw that; FOX must be so very proud of themselves.....I've noticed the military is MOST complimentary and respectful towards FOX reporters....not short/snippy/irritated with them or their questions....

Q (BBC): Red Crescent hospital being hit? UK Spec Ops missing in north?
A: Not aware of RC hospital being hit. Not aware of any UK forces missing.

And interview with Jessica's dad? I'd better crack open the ultra extra large heavy duty kleenex box for this one.

In general I refuse to watch these family interviews, and Fox doesn't run them. This one I want to see.
