Don't know. I'm watching Fox and they have a split-screen between the injured Marines press conference and Greg Kelly with the 3rd ID. I don't have a webcam up.

It was primarily France. They told Turkey to forget EU membership if they allowed a U.S. staging area. That move was probably the tipping point in U.S./French relations.
Turkey will be allowed back in our good graces...France? Well I'm reminded of the Navy commander whose ship was leaving its U.S. port last December. As they pulled away, he came over the loud speaker and said:
Peace on earth to men of goodwill.
All others, stand by.
I think France will be "standing by" for a long time.

Darn *L*. This webcam I'm on takes field trips every once in a while and I'd really like to know what they're saying. I'm sure it's obvious propaganda but you know what they say about curiosity and the cat :).

The military told the family Lynch had "walked into an Iraqi hospital" after going missing, but "we were told nothing else," relative Terri Edwards told Reuters. This is somewhat interesting, given that other news outlets are reporting she has two broken legs.

I hope so. Chirac is a jerk and needs to be contained himself. Thanks for the info!

I don't know why, maybe people burned out or they're waiting for more excitement on the cams? I personally love every boom I hear :).

I need more eyes *l*. Actually, I cringe every time they have a press conference with the injured troops. I'm so afraid the presstitutes are going to misbehave.

It's a time-of-day thing. Out here on the left coast, it's only 4pm when he comes on, so alot of people who would watch are still at work.

Part of me actually hopes they will so that the Marines can take 'em to school.

Given that it's Reuters I'll wait for confirmation from elsewhere.

I guarantee her story is horrid. Honestly, I do not wish to hear it - my imagination of the evil inflicted upon her is sufficient.

Possibly. Turkey got caught between a rock and hard place and made the worst of two bad choices, from their viewpoint.
Turkey has been an important "friendly" (can't really use "ally") to the US for a long time. Our relationship scared the **** out of the USSR and still makes the Russians nervous - and Syria, Jordan, Iran, et al. That's why Powell is having talks with them. He's not really pandering. Bush made it clear that the US was not happy with them and gave Powell his marching orders. EU or no, we need Turkey for a chance to foster democracies in the Midlle-East.

I need to figure out how to use my comcast internet space. The Yahoo photos I post download slow here.
But I know photos aren't popular for the phone modem people.
I can see why, my Yahoo album is slow to load.
Oh well, no Hunky Batman before I hit sack! (not a pic of me, I assure you)
