What is the latest news on the earlier reports of bodies being found where they rescued Jessica Lynch?

We haven't heard much about the bodies. I suspect that next of kin are being notified and we will hear the bad news tomorrow.

The military commentator on Fox and Bob Arnot on Anti-America's Channel made it sound like we would be on the outskirts of Baghdad at any hour. Our airpower must have done quite a job! I presume that the feed of info from the frontline is well behind reality at this point...

I think the Iraqis finally put 2 and 2 together when Saddam didn't show for his speech.

We could see coalition tanks in Baghdad tomorrow. Only problem will be how to stop Marines and Airborne from drinking town dry.

BTTT for #13.
So emotionally filled.

Whew: to say that Karbala fell I think is quite premature, unless I've missed something. I believe it would be more proper to call it "bypassed".

ROFLMAO....get those supply trucks up there with beer and cigarettes fast or there will be hell to pay..

So was this the first surprise of this campaign?
1. The 4th ID was nothing but a redherring to fool the Iraqis into thinking we were waiting for them?
2. The talk about the plan and not enough troops was an addition to the 4th ID talk to make the Iraqis think we were waiting.
