Maybe I am a dork (probably the case) but I really wish my cable system offered the game show network. I love those 70's game shows with Charles Nelson Riley and Paul Lynd. They are hysterical! Hollywood Squares Alert!!
There were funny were'nt they!

I'd be surprised if you haven't already posted this, but I'm afraid I didn't see it:
Islamist: al-Qaida holds coalition troops
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/882855/posts Entire post:
LONDON, April 2 (UPI) -- A Muslim fundamentalist source claimed Wednesday that Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network captured five coalition troops in Iraq.
The source who requested anonymity told United Press International by telephone that the kidnapping of four U.S. troops and a British soldier, took place last Saturday in al-Zubair region of southern Iraq, close to the Kuwaiti border.
He said the "kidnapped troops will be equally treated as al-Qaida prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay."
He said al-Qaida will soon release a videotape of the captured soldiers and will ask to swap them with al-Qaida suspects being held by the United States.

I don't just assume it, I hope like heck you are correct. The dirty bastards! I hope the pricks suffered before they died, too. I know, I know. Geneva and all that. Well screw 'em. They act like animals they can die like animals, for all I care. It would be so much more satisfying to just "release" them. To a liberated Iraqi mob...

If it was a Fox reporter, they'd name the reporter. In fact, they'd be yelling it from the roof. It's a convention that the news media use: if it's their reporter, they name the reporter. if it's from another source, they don't name the source especially if the source is a competitor.
And I saw Kerry Sanders report that he had received the note post-rescue.

Yes, they were a riot! I wish nick at nite would put the reruns of Laugh In back on, too. Last night I was flipping channels and saw that I missed The Banana Splits. I was pretty upset.

Moving too fast alert. Now that's funny.
Saw Newt on Fox last night say something to the effect of, if we had toppled Iraq on the first day of the war, the press would be carping that we shouldn't have deployed all those troops in the first place because we didn't need them. The press sucks. So do the carpers.

Is the quagmire anywhere near the red line?
FN - Simon Marks from Ammon: US coalition forces have done so much damage to the communications' infrastructure, that the only way Iraqis hear the "all clear" sign is from the roof of a Mosque. The Brit. guy sounds like we did something wrong, here, not that the bad guys are again placing legitimate targets around sacred sites.
If I had some swampland to sell to these socialist reporters...

I did post the link earlier, but some things should be brought up often for discussion!
I hadn't heard of any captures over the weekend (like this one) so I was suspicious - anyone heard about this??
To: Lauratealeaf
The person who received the note from the Iraqi civilian was MSNBC's Kerry Sanders (which is why Fox won't name him). He passed it along to our military.
Kerry said he received a message from a civilian...but the military already knew where Jessica was.

It hit me tonight that as much as these middle Eastern men like to think they are so superior to women, they might get tired of being publically beaten by an Army with a high percentage of women. Maybe they should just give into the US each time and go back home and tell each other they would have won but they can not fight women?Take THAT you people who thought you could debase/weaken the US military by putting "girls" on the front line!
