That's true. I'm sure there are already reservations made for her there.

That is the normal definition of destroyed. Some Jerk at the CENTCOM briefing had to ask what destroyed meant - idiot.

Just by denying it tells the people that their government is lying again. AND, where's Saddam?? they whisper. They know what he is like and that he would be center stage if he was alive and well.

That's true. I'm sure there are already reservations made for her there. She owns the place!

That is the famous photo from the cover of Vanity Fair right after 9/11. I have the paper copy, the ONLY time I have ever purchsed Vanity Fair.
rintense, if you have this photo (black and white with Condi, Rummy, Cheney, Tenet, Card, and the President) could you post it here for Cordova Belle? Thanks!

But wasn't his press release just soo funny - sounded more like old Ruskie Propaganda!

Another question would be to ask the reporter if he remembers any issues or difficulties related to his toilet training that currently impact his ability to be patient.
For his impacted problem.

Rick reported that one of the guys was sleeping with his loaded M16 in his sleeping bag, it accidentally fired and he was injured. They airlifted him out and they do not know his current condition or status.

Somebody posted that photo on yesterday's thread, some time in the afternoon.

Fantastic shot!

Drudge has an awesome photo of a soldier standing calmly in front of a ball of fire. Also, his headline is a link to a story claiming that the battle for Baghdad starts tonight. Chilling.

#1114: thank you, prairie. Enough of the left's obfuscating weasel words.
If anyone wishes to pass on prairie's questions for our press (daily e-mail post):
A good mega-media e-mail link site:

Thanks so much--I'll look for it.
But I think we could use a daily fresh posting of this great pic. Should be "de riguer," just like "Belly Girl." :-)
(oops--sorry for the French phrase. It was an unforgivable slip of the tongue)

Is it any good? Well, she uses words like, "stewing," "imperious," "impatient." But there are some good insights from friends, description of his day-to-day routine.
My sense is that there's disappointment that he's disciplined and he's not gone into meltdown.

Ouch. On the eve of the Battle of Baghdad...hope he heals, gets "back on the horse".

RG has been shelled/bombed for 13 contiunous days now. Ripe for surrender I have no doubt that surrender terms are being offered and mulled by the RG field commanders at this moment. The RG field commanders for all four units are probably weighing their options now. They HAVE to know that Saddam and sons Huey and Dooey are dead or gone to exile, but the cloak of fear, terror and dread that has covered every facet of their daily life - all Iraqis - is surely difficult to shed.
The RG has offered NO resistance or co-ordinated counter thrust thus far. No armed entity in Iraq has shown any evidence of a centralized command and control.
I just don't believe they are waiting to spring happy gas when they see the whites of our eyes. They can reach our Army guys now with their howitzers and gassy delights if they so desired.
They're waiting for a miracle from Allah, or at least Kofi, I'd say. Hopefully one of the Generals we nabbed earlier is giving them the real poop about their prospects and the news of their recently dead vicious rulers.
If the RG falls, Baghdad will fall soon after. The fedayeen can't keep hostages at gunpoint forever. They will be betrayed by the citizens they have terrorized and killed, and a quick death from a gun will be a blessing compared to the payback they can expect from the mobs.
And among a joyful throng of millions, the hopes and lives of free Iraqis will be entrusted to their brave liberator and beloved new leader: Geraldo Rivera.

Thanks - I avoided it to be nice to my blood pressure - now I'm glad I did.
