Rally to Support the Troops Bushnell Park, Hartford, CT Sat, April 5 3:00pm

Per Brad Davis' radio show (AM1360 Mon-Sat 5:30-10am) these folks are planning the rally- New Life Church in Meriden. I am not affiliated with them and this is not a FR-organized event. We should plan to get there early and stay late. Often, local TV cameras show up before the event even starts- or at the very tail-end.

From New York:

Take rte 84 to Hartford

Take the Asylum Street exit. It bears left. Turn right at the end of the exit.

The park is on the right after the ARCH, the stone towers on the right. The Capital is right behind the park. Do not go to the park that is directly connected to the Capital, that is not Bushnell Park, the next one down on the right is. (100 yards)

Parking will be in the parking garages on the opposite sides of the park, good luck trying to park on the streets, there may be a spot, but, good luck.

In order to have the maximum success at this and other rallies, we need to ADVERTISE them and get the word out. Put ads in the newspapers, have Limbaugh, Hannity and other radio
personalities advertise the rally, have volunteers handing out flyers throughout the greater Philidelphia area, have people speak at churches asking people to come to the rallies, send
emails, there must be countless ways to organize, put our message on billboards and even on tv if possible. WE MUST DO THIS NOW, ORGANIZE FOR THE TROOPS, WE MUST DEFEAT THE ANTI-WAR DEMONSTRATORS!!!

RTE 84 OR RTE 91 TO RTE 9 SOUTH TO MIDDLETOWN, TURN LEFT ON RTE 66, THEN LEFT ON MAIN STREET, RALLY IS 1/4 MILE DOWN ON THE GREEN

RALLY AT BUSHNELL PARK, 3PM TO...?

TAKE 84 EAST TO THE ASYLUM STREET EXIT, EXIT 48 I THINK, CAPITAL AVE GOES RIGHT, ASYLUM GOES LEFT. TAKE ASYLUM STREET.

AT THE END OF THE EXIT, TURN RIGHT ONTO ASYLUM STREET, THEN RIGHT AGAIN ONTO TRINITY (YOU HAVE TO TURN RIGHT, BUT STAY IN THE LEFT LANE)

START LOOKING UP THE STREETS ON THE LEFT FOR PARKING GARAGES OR, STAY IN THE RIGHT LANE AS IT CURVES LEFT, THEN LOOK FOR PLACES TO PARK ON THE STREET. AS YOU TAKE THE RIGHT ONTO TRINITY STREET, THERE SHOULD BE PARKING ON THE FIRST LEFT, PEARL STREET, IF NOT, CONTINUE UP PEARL TO MAIN, BREAK THE LAW AND TURN LEFT ONTO MAIN, THEN LEFT ONTO ASYLUM AGAIN, ONE WAY, AND PARK IN THE FIRST PLACE ON THE RIGHT.

HARTFORD IS HARDER TO FIND A PLACE TO PARK WHEN IT IS BUSY THAN SAN FRANCISCO.

Try to make it if you can!! We got TWO rallies in CT on the same day, easy to get to, also!!

We can caravan, easy access to highways!

Just look for the people leaving the Middletown Rally on Saturday who are then going to the Hartford Rally!!

Oh, that Middletown rally is LITERALLY down the street from my house! I am bummed, I'm having surgery tomorrow and I doubt I'll be feeling well enough by Saturday to go. :-(
