Did Fox say anything about his "booting?"

Rita Cosby is a damn good reporter. She is well connected and has earned her mark.
If the fact that she has gained weight bothers you and others who have posted, perhaps you should write to Fox and have them hire some more fluff reporters with great legs.

The Pentagon is staffed with members of all services I know, it just seems strange, as you would think this would be an internal (Army) thing.

I think Rita Cosby is fine too but let's not forget that she really goofed on the steps of the US Supreme Court when the Gore vs. United States of America decision was handed down. She was terribly over her head.

Yes, whether he is in or out, MSNBC and CNN are using the Geraldo story to paper over the Benedict Arnett treason.

ALL reporters were in terribly over their heads that day on the steps trying to read the decision.

If one looked closely at the sand drawing, it was clear a previous map had been drawn and hastily cleared leaving a line near the center. Of course he had clearance, he also showed the censors what he would be drawing.
Geraldo is many things, misguided perhaps, but a fool he is not.
Lets get on to something worthy of the bandwidth now, shall we?

It isn't her weight, believe me.
I struggle with excess "avoirdupois" myself, and would never criticize someone for being chunky.
It is her attitude that reminds me of Miss Piggy, the muppet. The smug self-importance, the air of being so well connected with "sources" she doesn't name. Of ocurse, all journalists have sources they do not name, but it is the ever so "important me" way she says it that drives me up the wall, like she is the only one who has them!!!
I find her irritating because of those qualities, but no doubt mine are equally annoying to some. I was surprised that someone else had made the same connection to that irrespressible pinnk muppet, that is all.

Agreed. I don't care about her weight. She is just annoying for a variety of reasons..........Particularly HER VOICE!

"Wouldn't the protocol be to notify the top guy at the network before telling the other press?"
Geraldo is/was hardly top guy or remotely on a par w/ Britt and Tony. The Fredo Corleone boat tour is about to embark. Walter Cronkite, helmsman and navigator. Peter Arnet is responsible for baiting the rods and reels.

I notice Ashley Bandwidth isn't embedded....
I loved Geraldo's tirade into MessNBC, telling it like it is.

I believe the poster was referring to Ailes, who is the top guy at FNC, not Geraldo himself. That being said, I'm sure the military isn't going to wait to try to get some suit on the phone before kicking one of his employees out for compromising troop safety.

Not that I know of...first it was "Is Paul dead?" now it's "Is Geraldo fired?"
To: veronica
Me too. Ever since he started reporting for FNC, I started liking him better. :)

Fox hasn't said a word, other than the remarks Geraldo made on TV.
That's why this doesn't make any sense at all.

Reuters, MSNBC, and Yahoo all report that Geraldo is a goner, and they haven't even slowed in the claims. Curious.
To: jacquej
I still laugh when I recall how Rita misintrepreted the SCOTUS ruling regarding the Florida recount. She was reporting that it was a victory for algore for several minutes before someone whispered in her ear that she was mistaken.
