You don't suppose that CNN was issuing false reports, do you?

>>>The troops love him. You've got that right. Rivera's doing a great job. If he does step over the military limits set down, he should be expelled. But so far, so good.
To: Howlin
They do love Geraldo. Say what you will about him but he does love the troops and they do love him. He has been a war correspondent for a long time and alot of people know that and respect him for that.

Geraldo still reportingWho gives a damn. All these freaking talking heads act like a bunch of juveniles, laughing and and bull sh*ting with each other while people are being killed....All these TV AHs are too much.
Personally, I'll take Michael Savage over all of these AHs .....

I agree if Geraldo isn't abiding by the liason officer, I would find that shocking.

It will be interesting to find the source for this. Could be as simple as someone's reaction to his "plans in the sands" gradually morphing into a "report". Could be MSNBC or CNN. Hmmm.

Didn't he leave MSNBC because they wouldn't let him go into the field after 9/11?
My dh was saying that it's very possible that Geraldo's map in the sand was either disinformation or a ploy to lead Iraqi's into a trap.

I like Geraldo... I can't help it. And I saw the report last night... I couldn't believe that he would have gotten thrown out for his map drawing skills... He didn't reveal anything that everyone who is paying attention already knew.
So... I'm glad Geraldo is staying. Because, despite myself, I like him.

I still haven't forgiven him, however, for Clinton's DNA dripping from his chin.BUMP

Someone should remind Geraldo that Desert Storm was about drawing a
line in the sand, not a map in the sand.

It was a misinformation campaign so the Iraqis would let their guard down thinking they were safe from Geraldo. Then when they least expect it....Geraldo is upon them like.....like....like....

I wonder if CENTCOM is playing favorites with Fox News and trying to marginalize NBC?

I saw that... he didn't reveal anything with his map... What he showed could easily be ascertained by reading the Baghdad Daily News...

Gerry may be many things but I bet he cleared his little sand drawing with the brass before he did it. Probably even added a little disinformation. I don't think he can afford to get booted. He needs to pay off that boat and support his exes.
