One more thing to add. The Geneva Convention clearly spells out procedure. Military Forces cannot attack enemy soldiers wearing cililian clothing. This is just what the Iraquis are currently violating. S.F. are strictly classified as "Military Forces".

Well, who really knows?

It should not matter one whit to us what they want. We are there to kill Saddam, Uday, and Qusay Hussein, and a few of their friends; and to locate and destroy weapons of mass destruction.

Subsequently, we will prevent the emergence of a government that will restore the status quo ante.

That's a big mission to accomplish. It has yet to be shown that we can accomplish it, but I believe we can and we will.

If we want the Iraqis to be like us, if we want to buy the world a home and furnish it with love-that I'm almost certain we cannot do.

If the latter is the mission, failure is almost assured.

Fox is not reporting it as a bombing...they are referring to it as a truck that drove into the airmen waiting in line at the PX. No mention at all that it was a bomb.

I think (HOPE, PRAY ) that is understood.

I guess I am thinking of new tactics that relate more spefically to an urban situation (as opposed to rice paddies, desert) and to the people who have grown up under such unstable situations.

Not wanting to be a black hatter.. like I said, I AM LEARNING & find you all have much to offer..

and so am asking questions. Guess we could alL waste time on speculation, as opposed to analysis (good info series yest)

so please all of you keep sharing your input.

I have felt many of the newbies have brought up good points.. they also have a wealth of info from their position/experience.

It is obvious that the "Media critic" for New York magazine, and so many other lefties, have never listened to Rush.They would not utter such mindless statements if they knew how their words would resound. We knew instantly that Rush, Sean, et al would jump all over that incredibly stupid and patronizing question!
