Propaganda and misinformation are wonderful things.
In times like these, who knows what to believe?
FOX, CNN, MSNBC.
Tools of the left, or of the right?
Personally, I feel we are being jerked, yanked, misinformed, manipulated, and whitewashed.
Although I wasn't born there, you could say I'm from Missouri.

I've seen obsenely large meetings but 200 sounds a bit high to me. That's a lot of PowerPoint printouts. I suspect we'll see the number come down.
Still stupid to go around holding meeting in Basra.

Look how considerate we are. They wanted to meet their God and the Air Force was thoughtful enough to arrange it.

I am thinking ... last week Saddam wacked 6o of his own military leaders ( chip off stalins block) That and with the bombing of command and control their ability to organize gets further and further degraded. I am thinking this is going to come together quickly in the end.

Cool. Interesting, when taken with the Brits' report that civilians attempting to flee Basra were being shot at by Iraqi militia and forced to flee back into the city for cover; British forces were providing cover fire for civilians, some of whom have successfully escaped...only to get food and return to Basra; in the meantime, British Marines were trying to wedge themselves between Iraqi militia positions and the city in order to better protect fleeing Basrans from Saddam's forces.
