Statements from Iraqi prisoners of war and electronic eavesdropping on Iraqi government communications indicate that Saddam Hussein has moved chemical weapons to the Medina Division, one of three Republican Guard divisions guarding the approaches to Baghdad, Army officials have said.

Just put two and two together, and maybe you'll get four.

I doubt windsun can handle such advanced math.

Problem here is that when the Iraq troops start shooting chem/bio wepons our troops will be to close to them for us to use a nuke. We need to be 20 miles away or more. We will be within 5 miles or less.

The media seems to have forgotten "Shock & Awe". I do belive that it is being saved for the event of bio weapons being deployed by the Iraquies. If and when they drop one, it will be a true sight to see. I would love to have some bleachers, a beer tap and popcorn, to sit about 15 miles out and see it. It will be the dangdest fireworks show ever. Make the 4th of July look like a Sunday School picknick.

"If he uses WMD, they'll leap right over the fact that they were wrong in claiming he didn't have them and switch to their next talking point: that the poor underdog and victim of American imperialism had no choice but to defend himself with all means available."

I predict that they'll say we staged the whole thing to justify the war. There will be all sorts of loony conspiracy theories about how Bush planted WMD in Iraq and used them on our GIs. The hardcore opposition to this war will NEVER admit that they were wrong. They will come up with the wildest fiction to justify their worldview. If, God forbid, Saddam unleashes WMD's just watch how fast these conspiracy theories start flying.

Where, precisely, is the Medina Division on a map? If it can be located why is it not bombed? Are these Iraqi's waiting for summer when the heat acting on our troops in their chemical suits will cause real problems? What happened to "shock and awe?" Has Basra fallen? Have the Iraqi's risen against Saddam? What will happen when the media finally turns completely and savagely against Bush? Why are we now calling for 120,000 more troops? Why was this not done when we had all the time in the world to build up?

"How embarrasing will it be to the US if no WMD's are found and Blix was right?"

Ahem. Reports that WMD are being moved to the Medina Division

Good reason to turn Medina into a carbon smudge before moving in.

Whoa. This is getting really scary now.
No wonder Hans Blix decided to resign.

This is what infuriates me about this useless, aberrant, Saddam buttsmacker!

He knew very well what the Iraqi regime had and turned a blind eye.

Effective July... Not soon enough for me

Why?
Both he and the un, for whom he works, are irrelevant.

Even resignations are slow in gvt work!

The un is not a government.
It's a communist front oganization, much like the democRAT party.

It's people like you that cause unrest! Your ignorant remark alone shows a great daffness floating around in empty spaces between two ears...ears mind you, that do not hear.

The question is not whether the Iraqi's have WMD, we've already seen that they do...(See reports: 1000's chem suits and antadotes found in hospital, drums being taken off trucks, Iraqi soliders in chem suits already)The question is, WHEN are they going to find vast acounts of WMD?

Do you think Blix is going to be embarrased WHEN WMD are found? He has no shame, and Blix himself should apologize right now to the coalition forces for withholding and trying to conceal vital imformation from the UN!!

Put on your heaviest welding goggles. It will be brighter than the sun.

And a lead suit. With extra protection over the crotchal area. The FR Special Tinfoil Beanie wouldn't be up to the task...

Is it possible that Napalm could destroy chemical/biological weapons? Does anyone know?

It depends on the type of agent, dispersal rate, etc. Napalm can be effective, but remember that it falls to the ground as it burnes, whereas most agents are air-dispersed. Distance and time are important - plus lots and lots of decon equipment.

Appreciate the info - I'm wondering, if we have troops watching Iraqis moving 50-gallon drums of the stuff and we napalmed that - would it work?

I'd be more inclined to use a fuel-air type of bomb - where the fireburst is ignited above ground and the local area basically becomes an incinerator - from ground level on up to a bit above burst height. Hard targets are's necessarily killed, but Chem/Bio weapons are.
