Thanks for the link. How depressing. I'm becoming more and more convinced that our State Department is nothing more than just an offshoot of the United Nations and nearly as damaging. They screwed up the Turkey deal too. Time of clean house at state. I don't understand why CIA is reluctant to engage these guys but then I don't think the CIA predicted the strong resistance we are encountering. Our intelligence community still needs a lot of work it seems to me.

Fox is reporting that 1000 Iraqis plus 4 Iraqi ex-Generals have arrived in Kuwait. They'll be used in this conflict by the military.

The State Department, like the rest of the bureaucracy, is seriously infected with Liberals in most of the career positions. After 8 years of Clinton, it will take decades to clean them all out.

I'll admit they need to clean house, but one of the reasons the turk deal failed was because they wanted us to hand them the Kurds on a silver platter .. that ain't gonna happen

As for the INC .. Iraq is full of different tribes that have been at each others throats for years .. I'm thinking that the Bush Administation wants to set up something where they all have a voice and somehow can get along enough to bring democracy to the region
