The drum thing isn't a rumor. Rick Levanthal was debriefed by the Marines, and authorized to report it publicly. It's unknown what was in the drums, but why would they be in MOP-4 gear unless it was VERY caustic stuff?

my only point is that the press keeps promoting this as "proof". They need to be promoting the "other stuff" we found instead (as another poster has pointed out!!)

It was until a few moments ago!! I just saw the excerpt. It IS highly suspicious. But to win the "war" of attitudes (EuroSwine, UnUnited Nations, etc..) we NEED to have solid proof. I hope Rick got footage! Better yet, I hope the Marines captured these guys!!

Rick just reported that in the briefing they got out in the field today a Marine saw, with his own eyes, Iraqis loading 50 gal Drums, in full MOP, (I missed the actual location) The Marines there believe that chemical weapons are coming...

Good night, I've been up all night, work, will go home in 90 minutes and watch FNC till noon, then off to la-la-land for 6 hours, watch more FNC till 10:30PM and then off to work again.
