Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running on the weekend, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

So now we have what...6 quotes? We need to assemble these into one post. Poor Ken Adelman only wrote one column, for heaven's sake. Clinton mouthed off all over the world!

Help! I just got in and am about to leave. Haven't heard any news since this a.m. Anyone have a quick synopsis for me? Good day, bad day? From the headlines on the threads it looks like a good day.

Clinton: "He is a threat. He's a murderer and a thug. I think I said that about him in Sept. 2000. But then so did a few thousand other people.

Was that an Alec Baldwin moment?
To: Timeout
If you read that quote from Clinton, looks like he was talking 3 weeks then.
2 weeks of bombing, followed by 1 week of ground fighting. Once we hit the three week mark, we shall see. I think everybody including Clinton, assumed we would do the long term air thing for a while first before deploying our troops. The irony of course is, that if we just bombed for the first 9 days, before we sent the troops in, I bet the reporters wouldn't be bitching so much about us being bogged down 50 miles from Bagdad, because we would still be in Kuwait now.

Geeez! Now I won't be able to see that guy cleaning the balcony or the cars go by anymore.
That was my entertainment after getting bored watching the bug zapper.:-)

Was that an Alec Baldwin moment?Yes, I'm afraid so. Do I have to move to France now?

Since he's a minister, you might say he experience a "conversion on the road to Baghdad". Yes. See my tagline? It comes from the first article written about this minister. Then he wrote the piece you posted.
You have been a FONT of information tonight and it is appreciated.
