Repeated booms sounded like a gun of some sort, each shot followed by a metallic sound of some sort. I'm thinking AAA.

Unreal! I just saw it on Fox (John Gibson) I captured the video. Explosion right next to the reporters hotel with raining debris. I wonder if that is why a few minutes earlier John lost contact with the reporter he had on the phone. Close to that lying, SOB Ministry of (mis)Information.
