Bring your flags, your signs and come join us.

I know we have Freepers in Alvin, Clear Lake, Pearland, Brazoria County, Harris County, Galveston county... Just don't know who you all are so thought this was a good way to get out the word.

I sent a note to Pat Gray, Glenn Beck, and Chris Baker and asked them to announce this on the air.

Thanks buffyt.
I would like to see our liberal city council awestruck when they see the turn out.
You know in this little town we have one paper that comes out twice a week and not everyone reads it.

I can't come down to Alvin, but as soon as the cement around the pole is set, I will be hoisting Old Glory in my front yard daily in support of our troops.

Thanks anymouse. It's not hard to find.. Take hwy 6 to Gordon street. Turn south and it's just about 4 blocks on the left. There is a giganic historical oak tree.. Hence the name. Oak Park..

In Houston the Comical comes out 7 days a week and few read it either. :)

Please post an after-action report with photos if possible. We are compiling the photos for a CD Tribute, and keeping a running list of pro-Troop events for media exposure.
Please ping A Navy Vet, Bob J, and diotima. Thank you.

4 of us from Kemah will be in Alvin
I have the "We support President Bush and our Troops" Yard signs and bumper stickers here the corplast signs and wire stakes are $2.00 for the set and am pleased to say over a 1000 have gone out from my home. I have people coming from all over S. Harris County and Brazoria Co. to pick them up I wish some more would stay here in the Peoples Republic of Galveston County. The signs come from Harris County Republican Party and we drive in and buy them for what we sell them for. Call me or Freep Mail me and pick some up. All See you and God Bless you for doing this.

I noticed yesterday that AquaTex had this info posted on their sign out front! Folks traveling up and down the highway are gonna have a hard time missing that sign! I also like that person on the highway who keeps putting out signs about the French! I didn't know Alvin was liberal, I thought it was a fairly conservative community. Isn't Ron Paul the rep? I have a daughter who lives in Alvin. Will pass the word to her and her friends. Hope to be there, too.

Hope to be there, too. Alvin isn't liberal and when it comes to State and National elections it is very conservative but on local elections like mayor or city council as you may know they don't run on party tickets. It's sort of like shooting fish in a barrel. Most are elected from name recognition. ( oh I know his dad etc.) .. and for some reason there is always a low turn out for city elections. Right now we have 2 republicans on city council and the mayor is a yellow dog democrat from the word go. I know that only because I stay involved and informed, but that's what happens when people stay home on election day.
