Should have had an "Operation Unvalentine" for Peter Jennings! He's even worse than Dan Rather, since he is undermining our heroic troops while they are putting their lives on the line for us and our great country. I never watch Peter Jennings (I get my TV news exclusively from Fox), but if I did, I'd boycott him.

Will also send emails and FAXes to ABC World News Tonight to let them know how I feel about Peter's traitorous performance (I won't let on that I don't watch Petah). I will also spread the word to everyone I know not to watch this "unamerican" Canadian and to send emails and letters to ABC.

I fully support your position--but a freep campaign to the creeps in charge of ABC news won't get anywhere.

The people we want to freep are the sponsors--or at least mention that we will contact the sponsors of the news programs of ABC. News programs are cash cows for the networks. They are very sensitive to that.

Somehow, I wish that all of the conservative talk show hosts that air on ABC owned radio stations would join in and demand that the top of the hour and bottom of the hour newsbreaks will conform to intelligent, truthful, unbiased reporting. It is such an aggravation to listen to these newsbreaks knowing how biased ABC news reporting is.

Whew! Went to their e-mail site, started typing, and got caught up in a rant that they will probably never read. I ended it with a statement that I intended to contact their sponsors and inform them that I will not purchase their products until Peter Jennings is no longer on the air.

Question is -- who are their sponsors, and is this viable?

Freepers all, as I never watch ABC, NBC, or CBS for the very reasons mentioned, bias and a socialist bent that does not reflect America nor do they respect our President, they all prefer the socialist one, Bill Clinton. My advice is, rather than write to Perfect Peter etc, simply to boycott those news programs, learn who their sponsors are and don't buy those products. You will get further by letting those companies know you will not buy their product because of the anti-American stance taken by the media they support. Spread the word that the news is slanted to protect and give sympathy to a despot.

These are the people who did and continue to support all the socialists in this country, they adored the Clintons and the United Nations; they continue to push a socialist agenda. Turn them off. Fox and the net are about the only purveyors of truth about the war or anything else that matters.

Hi there,

I cannot believe this channel keeps Jenning, willing to describe as the "other" side obviously radical extremist utopian views only interested in flinging excrements against President Bush.

It amounts to incitement to the illegal felonious confinement of this nation by the lawless and the idiot who dwells in self_congratualting garbage talk against the "opposition" for war.

Comparing the view pro_war to the view of these extremists is like comparing the view of a surgeon on a procedure with that of a charlatanesque healer kook.

Couldn't you guys come up with something better than trashy tabloid commentaries of Jennings and displays of antiwar protestors? No, it seems you have such an insecurity that you must provoke to make sure your insecurity in your views is shared by the opposition.

Well, too bad. Maybe you will win by the law of intensity, but certainly not by the law of truth and virtue. In the end truth will win because it is a forceless force of its own.

If you win today on the channel, you lose tomorrow. You cannot win all the time, and that is enough to comfort myself.
