I agree with your comments.. and to Michael, how awesome that you at your age & in your country can have such a stance. You must really feel you are swimming against the tide. I hope that you & your fellow conservatives will mature into the leadership of your country which can be such a wonderful asset to the world.

Michael for chancellor of Germany!

Dolly for Mayor of NY !

Keep the faith...

LOL thank you.

In fact, even in my party many (though not the majority!!) oppose the war. But our chairman is doing a good job.

I also disagree that S&A has failed. Who ever said that the result of that would be that the whole gov't would immediately fold? Not Rummy or Franks or Bush, I assure you. They have maintained from day one this would be a longer conflict than some believed.

Really, there are indications that large parts of the Iraqi military have folded and we have not had to deal with the entire "might" of the Iraqis, and if there were some way to get rid of the thugs in the military/paramilitary who have shown themselves willing to slay their own comrades-in-arms, many more would have folded. To maintain that this is not an act of this play just waiting in the wings for now is premature.

But then, I've always been an incurable optimist of the "Polyanna" degree...
