Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.

I know this isn't what the Iraqui people are thinking about now, but if I were Iraqui (thinking in American terms), I would think that all that oil for food money going down the drain, since it was used to build palaces, not food aid. I wonder if these palaces going up in smoke have any impact or a sense of humiliation to the ruling party?

don't be disarigin the great state of TEXAS. East TEXAS is a piney woods paridise. Wouldn't dream of dissing my home state .... NEW TEXAS would be the better term for it.
You're right, East Texas is piney woods.... but GODAWFUL HOT in the summer (and I live here). Very nice in the fall/winter/early spring though.
