Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
Special thanks to null and void for keeping these running over the weekend and Monday, to all of you for keeping these threads alive, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

"An American soldier threatens to spank an Iraqi child if he doesn't hand over his food packet"

Article and reference sent to Milwaukee talkshow host who is quite influential. I am sure this will become ammo tomorrow. Which one, so I know to catch the show (I know it can't be Belling).

I would have liked to have seen AlGore in the desert. At the rate he sweats, he would have been dehydrated in 2 hours.

Ah yes, Ken Bacon, employer of Monica, releaser of confidential employee information, and general wuss who was NOT a person who should be Pentagon spokesman.
What horrible years those were!

"Oh, most excellent! How'd it handle?"
Had no problems at all except for the first 3 carrier landing attempts!
Since the controls are reversed (throtles on left) on close approach I automaticly cross controled when things got dicy and crashed!
But being a simulator, it immediatly set you back to the initial approach at FL180 to make another attempt!
It was really kind of neet ot fly under the Coronado bridge. If you did it for real you would be in the grey bar hotel.
Other than that, flying it compared to the prop planes that i'm used to, it was very easy to fly.

How'd you know? It's quite sickening to see what Yahoo has up.Lucky guess. :-( Sadly, the media are dead-set against the Coalition. They're not against war per se; they love the ratings, for instance; they're merely opposed to Truth, Justice, and the Anglophonic* Way.
* Note the major Coalition partners: USA, UK, Australia.
