Quite frankly, the Fox pundits are a lot more interesting than the ones offered by CNN. The Colonel with the raspy voice is my favorite.

Actually, this will be known as the tv war the world never saw, because of all network's insistence on placing that annoying info graphic at the bottom of the screen

I like the Colonel too, but my favorite is Gen. MacInnalley. And I'm glad that he was back in the Fox lineup last night.
The last time that I saw him, he had his map and his pointer all ready for his presentation......but several times he was interupted by 'breaking news'. Time and time again he was cut off in mid-sentence, and I don't think he ever did finish. LOL.

YES! We love Colonel David Hunt too (the guy with the raspy voice.) He never sleeps! He is on late with Greta, then I'd wake up at 3am and he'd be on, in a different suit, with Laurie Dhue. Then he's on Fox and Friends in the morning, in yet another suit. And he does wear rather nice suits!!!!

Interesting. Fox News is not partisan Republican in its coverage, just more positive toward US officials than the other networks and less positive towards Iraqi propoganda.

Since the US sources are pretty much telling the truth, Fox has been just as accurate as the other channels in covering the US side of the war (the Scuds might be an exception) and MORE accurate in covering the Iraqi side of the war. Fox has been skeptical of Iraqi propoganda almost immediately, while the more cautious CNN and MSNBC have been at least partially taken in again and again.

Part of being a reliable news outlet is having great instincts about who is lying and who is telling the truth. Fox's instincts have proven better than CNN's and MSNBC's, which is why they have been the most reliable instant news source. It is not objective reporting to treat repeated liars as just as credible as repeated truth-tellers (as the BBC does).

Having said that, except for showing Iraqi propaganda pictures, CNN and MSNBC have been doing much better than usual, perhaps reflecting the competition of Fox, which helps keep them honest.

The MSNBC reporting from Umm Qasr this afternoon was SPECTACULAR--showing in detail the reactions of Iraqi children to being liberated. Remember, it's about the children.

yeah, Col. Hunt. I love him. He can barely finish a sentence when he gets excited about explaining something. He sounds like George C. Scott.

I keep waiting for him to break down and call Shepard Smith a "silky boy".

Just kidding Shep, you rock!

Colonel Hunt is also my favorite.

Saw a History Channel show about drill seargents. Most of them lose their voices and end up spitting up blood from yelling so much. Some of them end up with their voices permanently changed.

Maybe Col. Hunt was a yeller. He has a great sense of humor, too.
