Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Not at night in a trackless desert.
Reading a small (daylight) photographic signal and getting specific location and getting that location back to the field in seconds to a tracking station to the flight control to the attacking aircraft (if one is even there) and getting the attacking aircraft to the bomb point to get the bomb to the target can't be done in seconds.
It takes longer than that just to verify that friendlies aren't in the bomb point where you think the target used to be.

By the by, was actually pretty happy with Hannity tonight, his comments about Daschle, the protesters, and the anti war Demoncrats were very well presented and respectful. He basically said "Don't lump me with those losers just because I happen to be a Democrat."

they are NYC based talk show hosts, they had a "conspiracy radio" talk show. alot of their stuff is very unfiltered, but they seem to have very unique sources. they are on wabcradio.com, 10PM-12AM EST

And since she's from Mass...those fake breasts were paid for with federal tax dollars!!!

MSNBC just had a great quick recap of sights and sounds of the last five days of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Brought tears to my eyes.

Almost like a person who has had a stroke, my husband can't stand to watch her talk, he can't stop looking at her mouth.

After two months of watching my wife on this 24/7 claiming she was doing important work I looked at the Freep and found out what she was doing......and yes this is series bidness.

You mean Colmes? I agree, he's disgusted! Hannity must be rubbing off on him!

One of the photos I saw have a sheet-type cover over the launcher. If it's been on there for a while, then I'm not surprised we're not finding them. That stuff blends in with the desert. (referring to launchers)
As for the plant, I don't know how long that building has been there. We didn't go into Iraq last time. This is where ground troops come in. As cool as Satellites and the USAF are, little old techniques can shield equipment on the ground from the eye above.

Very cool..in Hawaii the only people I could possibly meet were ugh Gov Cayetano and Linda Lingle...neither one I'd brush my teeth to talk to.
To: don-o
Good, let them off each other while we hunt down and off Saddam if he isn't roasting marshmallows already.
