This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. I think it sounds worse to us than it actually is, due to the severe audio compression and gain on that mic and the digital transmission, plus that music is based on eastern scales and modes which western ears are unaccustomed too
But it freaked me out the first time too
