I heard a view that it's good to maybe keep them up because it shows the leadership all happy and such when the people know it's not the truth.

Keep in mind that Iraqi TV has so far said nothing about capturing the helicopter, only the pilot and gunner.

Yes, I've heard that, too. I see merit in both scenarios and will trust Franks to make the call.
