This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. the media is uniformly reporting nothing but negative news today. What's keeping me going is the certain belief that wer're pounding the snot out of the RG.Quagmire....stalled....resistance....not a cakewalk. BAH!

Pants down - my guess is they wanted to check to see if they had a certain medical procedure performed. (i.e. Are they circumcized and possibly Jewish) [ Maybe they aren't aware that a large number of Americans are circumcized ]
That is chilling and disgusting. They are animals. I saw the photo of the Iraqi smiling with one of our dead soldiers. It made me sick.

Showing TV footage of soldiers killed in combat is not at all the same thing as parading POWs in front of the cameras to humiliate them.

Good. John Gibson asks about attack on terrorist HQ in northern Iraq. Chris Klein reports that the battle is ongoing. Special Forces and Kurd fighters pouring in. Air strikes and missile strikes have been called in. Klein says that these are most fanatical group, they will fight to the death, they are in rugged terrain like Afghanistan, and Special Forces have their work cut out for them.
