Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

4th ID is not on a ship, only their equipment is. They are still at Ft.Hood waiting to leave.

I must be maturing... (I knew this day would arrive) I found the message on the sign to be of more significance than the belly of this thinking conservative. Great message. (OK... I'll say it- great figure too)

That's what I did - but it didn't work. I think their server is overloaded. Thanks anyway!

Suggested I copy the url and put it in a NEW browser window rather than just clicking on the link. Thanks but I was doing that. I keep geeting a server busy or server does not understand request error. Too bad, I enjoyed that feed.

I also don't think it was reported that they all had their shoes off, only the female. Anyone else remember anything about this?

There may be nothing left of these guys when we get there. I'm sure they were given a choice. This hand-wringing today is going to look silly, soon.

They might've been searching for weapons. Sometimes they're concealed next to the frank and beans since it's unlikely another guy will want to cop a feel when frisking someone.

While we are advancing in a blitzkrieg offensive at the pace of 100 miles per day. That is astounding and unprecedented in the entire history of warfare. A record that will only be broken, when we invade France.

I agree, We are actually seeing it happen right before our eyes. The anti-american leftist media is having their clocks cleaned by FOX NEWS and I for one am very glad to see Americans voicing their disgust for these leftist by choosing FOX NEWS

Fox - oil pipes ablaze in Nejmeh

they may be standing off Baghdad and firing them into the city. The action in the city is done, until we show up on the ground. There may be a few hits, but no "SnA"

Oil pipes... No problem. Just turn them off. It's the oil wells that are important.

I agree 1000% percent. I was mad all day at the term "heavy casualties" -- sorry -- but if losing 0.001% of all troops in the Theater is heavy casualties; then what is considered normal or light? I justed watched a documentary on Stalingrad in WWII; an aerial bombardment killed 40,000 civilians in a single day; thats heavy.

How can that be (they don't know we are coming)? What does this mean, that they believe we are only after Saddam, or they think spineless, drop a few bombs, Clinton is still President?
