Steve Martin was the saving grace at the end of the show by blessing the kids overseas. He also said that Moore was still being quite vocal as he was escorted to his limousine’s trunk by a few teamsters. And I thought they were all part of the Democrats.
It wasn’t made known to the audience that Salma Hayek was portraying a rabid communist, nor was I encouraged by the discomfort seen among the crowd during the Twin Towers documentary win. Meryll Streep was magnificent in her presentation. The insults to the righteous continued with awards to Roman Polanski and suspension of their own time rules when anti-Americanism ranted.
