I guess that is how I would describe what I thought when I saw Jennifer Lopez: her dress was, well, completely covering her. Wasn't it at the Academy Awards where she famously and notoriously wore the gown that was, well, very revealing?

Re the lapel pins---is there like a schism, with the failure to wear a "peace lapel pin" a sort of scarlett-letter-in-its-absence, it's presence or absence forming a dividing line?

I missed Jennifer Lopez when she first came out in that dress last year but my youngest daughter came running out and brought it up on the Internet.

Definitely my tasteful this year.

I don't understand lapel pins either -- look to be friends of Richard Gere wearing them! Not a whole lot of people have them!
