If this Frida painter had not been a lesbian, communist psycho, would anyone have ever heard of her?

Thanks for the correction (I was too lazy to look it up on Google. The image is, of course, burned in my brain:-) ....Steve Martin quiped a few minutes ago something like, "Sorry I was late returning to the stage. I was backstage trying to convince Jennifer Lopez that two-sided tape is best removed with saliva."

Wasn't she married to that muralist? (For some reason I can't think of his name.) BTW, have you ever seen any of her self-portraits? Truly hideous stuff.

Salma Hayek cheered loudly when dude (have on idea who he was) said "If Frida would be here, she'd be outside" with the protestors I presume. Like I said, no one outside of communist party covens and NOW lesbian book clubs would have ever heard of Frida were she not a psycho, commie lesbian.
