What is most interesting is that if anyone remembers that "energy summit" that was hosted by the Bush Administration in early 2001, it was Ralph Klein, not Jean Chretien, who was invited to Washington to represent Canada.

Ernie Eves, the Premier of Ontario, said earlier this week he believed Canada should have joined the U.S.-led war Ontario is very liberal, so that impressed me.
I gotta visit Alberta sometime. Take a hunting trip there or something.

Ralph is great... when he is sober enough to stand up
He is probably the only govonor or premier in the history of north america who has turned up in a homeless shelter while in office

I wonder if we could find a Congressman who'd be willing to introduce a bill extending an invitation to Alberta to join the Union.
Just a thought.

I had read of John Manley' comments. Now I'll add Ralph Klein to the list of 'good guys'.

LOL. I could tell you a few similar stories about Ralph, from a friend of mine who once owned Ralph's favorite watering hole in Calgary.

There are probably more Flames fans in Kansas than in Calgary. LOL.
I never understood that city's relationship with the Flames until I lived there.

LOL...what about Gordon Campbell? I loved when he was on the cover of the Vancouver Sun, being booked on drunk driving charges.

That's the difference between people in Vancouver and people in Calgary.
If a Calgary cop pulled over Ralph Klein for drunk driving, he'd just push Ralph over to the passenger seat and drive him home. LOL.
