Yes, airborne since Vietnam has meant that about 30% are black. In Vietnam I remember that many 101st troopers were black with Jump-Wings and they loved America more than most.

Ding Ding Ding. You win the prize. I shopped at the local Wal-Mart tonight. (shoot me, please) and several of the checkout women were wearing yellow ribbons, including a couple of the black checkout women. These are patriotic Americans. (Not a lot of muslims in the area tho).

I think the reason why this is striking a chord with many people is because they realize that muslims of the black variety seem to be drawn to the hate-whitey, calypso Louie brand of Islam, the brand that uses religion as a mask for their own racism and sense of alienation from American culture. These black muslims hate America and probably should not be serving in the armed forces, but what to do with muslims-- kick them all out? How can you tell which are truly religious people following their beliefs, and which are nutjobs just waiting to kill Americans?
