"Someone on Rita Cosby's just said that there are 13 muslim chaplins in the U.S. military, and at least 9 of them are 'wahabi' muslims."That's the part that totally disgusts me. Wahhabism is The Enemy...and here we have welcomed them with open arms into OUR MILITARY.

I can recall VERY clearly the fact that several soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division married Somali women and brought them back to the U.S. when I was there in 1993. One of the first Islamic Chaplains in the Army was comissioned and assigned to Ft. Stewart. Now the Somali's who were in the area where we were at were loyal to Mohammed Aideed.

I'm curious: I read the post, which mentioned that 2 Kuwaiti translators and a soldier described as a black muslim were being questioned. I clicked on the CBS link and that sentence now describes the black muslim as an engineering somethingorother. Did you copy your post from the initial story from that CBS link? If so, they've already erased the part about suspect being muslim. On the other hand, as I'm typing this CBS radio* is reporting the muslim aspect of this story, but for how long is the big question.
*My news radio station here in Charlotte, NC. I'm forced to listen to CBS 'cuz I don't own a TV (by choice).
