Look, I know it isn't quite the same. It is getting harder and harder to not have some sort of negative view of Islam. But there is no way you can paint with that broad of a brush. Even if it is 10% of muslims that are whacked (which is probably off by a factor of a thousand) it would still mean that you would be punishing a tremendous number of good people for no reason.

If there were a well-planned action by Irish terrorists who had destroyed the World Trade Center and intended the death and destruction of the United States, and an Irish American soldier did what this one did -- you better believe that every one should be out of active duty and out of the service.

This isn't about ethnicity, it is about experience with an enemy that is bent on our destruction.
