I want to see Chiraq publicly apologize. Then resign. You are much too kind. I want to see Chiraq on trial as Saddam's co-conspirator. I want him broken to the extent that he is reduced to a quivering blob of jelly. And I want France to be shunned as a leper until that time they can prove they possess something approximating morality.

Just admit you posted a bogus link and I will forget about it. Actually, I am finished with this, because if you cannot see why posting bogus links is not a good thing, then I can't really reason with you anyhow.

This is no doubt regarded as extremely sensitive information. I doubt if any general will reveal it without getting clearance from above.
It won't surprise me if we hear nothing further about this report. And that won't necessarily be because the report is false.

You are a jerk. You are making things up (again). The issue is why you make up links, not about Mr. Arnot being a busy man. Your supposed concern for the integrity of this forum as your primary motive is now exposed as false as you have chosen to turn this thread into a flame war over virtually nothing.
Please tone it down.

It was reported on a major network.Your point?
The point is you challenged the fact that it was even reported.
You, immediately owe an apology to the person whose integrity you impugned by implying he made up the post.
I expect it now if you have any integrity at all.
That you are playing such games does indicate you are in fact not on the up and up.
To: laz17
Sure, I was only talking about the first steps...
To: redlipstick
I don't doubt it was reported, it may have been pulled for security reasons.

why could it not have been planted though? Why would you automatically think it was planted by our military?
DU must be missing you. If you're an anti-American socialist, you're on the wrong site. We're not Democrats here. We support America.
To: Jay D. Dyson
I saw the report too, as did others in the 'Situation Room' live thread.

why could it not have been planted though?Anything is possible, but if it was planted too many folks would need to be involved to keep it secret. Plus, its way too early for US to think they need to plant anything to prove that WMD exist. Finally and most important, such information would be counterproductive for our own troops. Why scare our guys while the war is still in process.
So, in short the US has more to lose than gain if it planted it, assuming the report is even true.

"... i think somebody planted it." Of course you do.
Now, who planted it, and why?
To: BRL
I am finished as well, don't have the energy to argue it.

If it was planted don't you think the journalist embedded with that particular division would expose that? He's been with them from the start.
It's also why the Administration has decided to send journalists with our Special Forces Ops that are looking for WMD. So they can serve as independent verifiers.
Pay attention!

If this information is considered as sensitive as I suspect it is, there could well be people trying to get this thread pulled through flame wars.

I thought they were vaccinated!
