Allow me: My guess is that it is likely an understandable mistake. Ewing probably confronted a box on the FR webform that says "Source URL." Knowing that the source was MSNBC, he put in the URL not realizing what would happen. The form should probably read "Source URL if applicable."

That said, IMHO you might do this forum a service if you tone it down a little.

Because it is the website of the television station that he heard it on. Geez... it's obvious from the context that he heard a television report (not copy & paste, the Freeper typed it up himself/herself). Besides, articles are not usually on a website's front page--if you see that it goes to CNN.com or MSNBC.com, you can obviously tell (without clicking) that there is no article there.

Stress isn't healthy for you--if it bothers you that much, do an abuse report and ask the admins to remove the link. You'll get a heart attack when you get some real issues to worry about...

I have no doubt we will find that Saddam has WMD. I would be careful, however, relying on anything Arnot says. If memory serves, he was revealed as a bit of a fraud, or at least an exaggerater, a few years back. Anybody remember the circumstances?

Your point? Last I saw, reporting of "major networks" show that the only protests going on are courtesy of a "majority" against the U.S.-led liberation of Iraq.

None of the other stations are mentioning this. At least that I've heard. Fox News just aired a press conference with a General where the reportter was asking "why haven't you found any WMDs if Iraq has them?" This needs to be better publisized!!!

My facts are this.

I first read your thread (which provided a bogus link) and because of this, it appeared to me that this whole think was suspect. Later, I found this thread , which I come to find out was a TV report.

Oh yeah, I remember now. Arnot wrote a book on breast cancer that was attacked as mostly bogus, including by a doctor whose research he quoted. I think it was in the Wall Street Journal (it must have been because that and the NY Post are the only papers I read).
