Why did you provide a link when none existed. It was your posting of this info that has made this suspect to me.

Allow me: My guess is that it is likely an understandable mistake. Ewing probably confronted a box on the FR webform that says "Source URL." Knowing that the source was MSNBC, he put in the URL not realizing what would happen. The form should probably read "Source URL if applicable."

That said, IMHO you might do this forum a service if you tone it down a little.

If free republic is to be credible, then the sources must mesh. I understand what happened (NOW). But making up links does not help the credibility of FR.
