I like Nickle Creek. They push the envelope a bit in terms of a bluegrass sound, but they don't come off as fake and the talent is real. Esp. Chris the mando player. The girl fiddler (name escapes me) is good too. I saw them when they were just kids.

Yeah, Im no bluegrass purist, but I love their music, very tallented for their age. I play guitar, harmonica, and banjo, and Im in awe of their talent really. And any band who can make a song using the words to a Robert Burns poem (Sweet Afton) is OK by me. (Burns is one of my favorite poets, falling shortly behind Keats and Whitman)
