Thanks for the update. I think it will be tomorrow or Mon. before we know whether our guys are going to have to fight their way into BAG. Once the 3rd ID gets in position, the RG's are going to fish or cut bait.

they would print he is fixated on the TV coverage. Or worse, they would print that he was a war monger & a cowboy! I thought it was rediculous how that news lady made such a point about whether or not he watched it!!!

Absolutely, it´s just to make him look bad. And- of course it was covered in Europe, too. The reporters asked people on the streets, and some answered "you won´t hear a negative word about our President in these days from me!"
People understand that the President cannot watch TV all the day, and asking that was a stupid trial of that journalist.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the helicopters. Fox News reports it as a mid-air collision. One reporter over there said that they were more than likely using "night vision" and it's like looking thru binoculars so that may have been the cause, said it limits your side vision.

Missed the last half of it, was sent back to the shops for something I forgot :-)
It's 10:36am in Wales and it's going to be a warm one (not an everyday thing in this part of the world:-) )
Now I just need to get the kids off Cartoon Network or get the Sky News feed working again......

Fox hasn't gone back to the report, but Reuters said about 5-10 minutes ago that there were 3 more explosions near or in baghdad

Actually, I didn´t get the impression that here in Europe a "hunt for Bush" started. Instead, the same old peaceniks go on with their demonstrations but the media (say: public opinion) stops searching for those who bear the guilt for that war. They´re looking into the future and asking what comes next and how we can support a democratic Iraq.
So, after all what I hear, a little bit of that "rally around the flag" phenomen is to be seen here too, although our flag isn´t shown in Umm-Qasr etc.

Well, I'm pretty tired, as I sure others are, so that's probably cutting down on the goofing off during the news lulls.
