In 1991, Security Council Resolution 687 gave Iraq 15 days to declare and disarm its weapons of mass destruction. Officials of the first Bush administration assumed, after constructing a broad alliance and winning decisively in combat, that the international community would cooperate in compelling Iraq's full disarmament and in keeping tough sanctions in place. Twelve years later, Saddam survives in power; his weapons of mass destruction programs are intact and growing; sanctions are in tatters; and the international coalition to contain him has disintegrated.

Why are the Dem's doubting theexistance of WPM's?
It amazes me that they will, in the face of the facts, continue to yap out of their asses.

I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open but I want to stay here, have a feeling that something is cookin. I missed everything this past few days, no tv at work. If I lay down to watch the tube, I'll be out to lunch for sure!

They should do a court-martial right there in Kuwait and execute him in the middle of Camp Pennsylvania.Agreed, but watch the touchy-feely folks with the networks get started. How much you want to bet that Katie Couric shows up in the morning wringing her hands on "Today?"

Definately execution for the puke muslim soldier -- one of his victims has died. Tie his limbs to the bumpers of some Hummers and rip his body apart. It would still be too good for him.
To: RummyChick
he will probably plead insanity Unfortunately you are probably right -- and someone like Johnny Cochran or a NOI hired Lawyer will come in and make his trial a media circus.
Hopefully the MP's will make a "mistake" and put him in the brig with the general population. They'll take care of the problem.

No, I wouldnt say that, there's alot of patriotic muslims, Im friends with quite a few, and though some are wackos like this guy, there are wackos in every denomination, plus that'd be a PR disaster for our armend forces. This guy is obviously disturbed and should be dealt with, but I cant say his actions speak for ALL muslims.

CBS News just reported (11:50 ET) that this search invloved only 3 out of 650 suspected sites.
So they have a way to go before the peacenicks can claim "nothing found."
Maj. Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the vice director of operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told a Pentagon news conference that the Iraqis have not fired any Scuds and that U.S. forces searching airfields in the far western desert of Iraq have uncovered no missiles or launchers.

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!
YES!
I'm so proud of them, and greatful we've got 'em.
(Can feel the shackles of the 'Nam monkey slipping off... no more hand wringing & begging the U.N.)
I'm going to work harder at going out of my way to say thanks, anytime I see a uniformed member of our Armed Forces around.
