I will agree he's a good lyricist, and he can be funny

But, the endorsement of wife beating, violence, etc bother me, I want to listen to more pleasant music I guess, I respect your choices though as music is extremely indivdual and I wont bash anyone for their tastes.

Im not a fan of rap as a whole anyway, just never appealed to me

I think the US pop-music/rap industry is one of the answers to the question "Why do they hate us?"

What some of them (the holier than thou's) hate is a lot of their own people like it. Just like here.
