If they are giving us Anthax, it may be time to rethink strategy. After all, we are not liberating France post WWII.

Fred pointing out how amazing this war is - from the top down, hitting Saddam's bunker first. There has never been an effort like this to avoid civilian casualties.

UNICEF is a UN program that has been supplying them with food for the past decade. That program came to a halt two days before the bombing began. Looks like they are going to have to toughg it out for a bit.

Sabri Warns Turkey Against War Moves
Sat March 22, 2003 06:59 PM ET
http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=worldNews&storyID=2429621 DAMASCUS (Reuters) - Iraqi Foreign Minister Naji Sabri warned neighboring Turkey against supporting a U.S.-led war against Baghdad, vowing "multiple harm" for Iraq's enemies.
"We hope that our Turk neighbors would realize their true interest...Who seeks to harm Iraq, multiple harm would be inflicted on him," Sabri told reporters upon arrival in Damascus, en route to an Arab meeting in Cairo.
Commenting on whether Iraq had captured any U.S. troops, Sabri said, "Today when I left Baghdad, Iraqi fighters downed an American aircraft...You know that on board there is one pilot or more. Details about that will be announced later."

In the compound, which houses the headquarters of Qusay, the younger son charged by Saddam with defending Baghdad, a building still smoldered. A small villa belonging to Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan was destroyed. Two other buildings, the Palace of Peace and the Palace of Flowers, were struck in Saturday's raids and fire engines were seen at the gates of the Jumhouriya (Republic) Presidential Palace, next to broken water pipes and other debris.
Is this where Bush gets the idea that that these Muslims are a peaceful religion?
