This is the continuation Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - Day 1- LIVE THREAD.

MSNBC is showing some liberated villagers. They have the yellow humanitarian aid packages like we dropped in Afghanistan. Reports that we are providing no aid, and are just moving on, are apparently false.

You have got that right. I am almost embarrassed for them when they rant on and on about the trouble we will cause in Iraq. It's as if they think only a brutal tyrant can rule these people. That is the beauty (IMO) of Bush now, and in many things he does. He believes in the goodness and dignity of the human heart.

These are either additional B-52's about to take off, or the ones that took off earlier just returned and are about to take off again. I think it's the former since it takes a while to get re-loaded.
