This is the continuation Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - Day 1- LIVE THREAD.

Initially it was loosely set up that An.American.Expatriate would set up the threads because he is posting from Switzerland.....so he was planning on setting them up around 1-2 a.m. EST--for the current day (around 9 a.m. HIS time).

I pinged with the LIVE PING list while Howlin was out of town, but since she's back, I have handed the baton back to her.

The thread is headless. US official confirm photos of panic posting, Howlin was seen taken off on a stretcher. Rumors of null and void negotiating a surrender, while Alexander Haig has just grabbed the microphone and is declaring to be in charge.

Question:  my local news coverage said "just in" a bunker of dead Iraqi commanders found ... soldiers killed them because they didn't want to fight.  Soldiers have since surrendered.   Anyone hear of this before?  Links?
