co-worker came up with a new slogan for the war....the "slam saddam" war.....
I still like "Stamp Out Saddamy" better....I had that bumper sticker in Gulf War I, with a circle-slash over a silhouette of a person "standing" behind a camel. >:)

has to be because they are all over everything and no way would they not talk about it..and frankly, I think they are forced not to talk about it because I can't imagine all of the networks voluntarily not speaking about it even just a little..

The most potent propaganda is the truth. To see the 3rd Infantry drive across the Iraqi desert unopposed is practically surreal, and is being witnessed by the entire Arab world via al Jazeera TV.

What is even more surreal is to watch the US Congress on C-Span (now adjourned) moving steadily through its business, being interrupted only by the usual suspects. "Shrillary" left me with an unforgettable sound bite as she earlier complained that the budget resolution was being balanced on the backs of American soldiers in Iraq.

She is now toast. Wave good bye to the last shards of the Clinton Mafia's hold on power.

Diane Watson (D-Californis) is using the helicopter fatalities to oppose the resolution to honer our troops. The Democrats are truly sick assholes.

What I picked up from the morning reports (I only get CNN International - mega hurler :-(( )

SitRep, 05:20 GMT, 21 March 2003,
1. 7th Cavalry Regiment racing across the desert to Bagdad (possibly already halfway there.
2. Rest of the 3rd Division pulling up the rear.
3. No resistence!
4. Marines & the Brits moving up the east side of the Tigris
5. Still Confusion regarding Saddams fate (alive, dead, injured)
6. Some strikes against Bagdad C3.
7. Sadly, 16 Soldiers died in a Chinook crash in Kuwait - prayers for thier souls and thier grieving families.

Anybody got more??

Oh yes, before I forget, the biggest news on the Euro Channels seems to be the protests and the opinions of the worlds leaders (Chiraq, Schröder & Co.). All predictably negative and irrelevent.

Update: So far the casualties are 12 British and 4 Americans when a CH-46E went down in Kuwait from mechanical problems.

Minimal Iraqi resistance. Numerous surrenders already with many more expected as we get closer top Baghdad.
