Yes a liberator. Maybe the stinkin' press will start reviewing the objectives of this war...liberation, return of oil riches to the people, the destructions of WMD, etc.

You know, because everyone in this country is watching the tube now, millions are probably seeing and hearing their first live press conference.....bet we'll start to hear what most Americans think of the reporters questions...the camel's nose is under the tent..
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
I am absolutely convinced that the embedded reporters would NEVER ask (now) such stupid questions as these idiots. I am hoping that the ones who are embedded will someday sit at the top of the news organizations and remember the experience they are going thru...AND reporting on now.
The decision to place reporters WITH the troops was inspired.

Aparently Brian Williams compared Shock and Awe Phase I to Dresden and Hiroshima Oh brother. Thanks for the info.
What did Rummy say about that?
To: ztiworoh
Ditto. Note the reports of the fall of Basra (and with that, the last possible Iraqi access to the Persian Gulf) have not been confirmed.

Has anybody seen any good pix of Tommy Franks? I know he hasn't been too visible recently. I sure want to get some for my will-be huge bulletin board.
thanks, Prairie
